THE MULTICULTURAL MALAGA
In the last 15 years, it has become a cultural reference in Spain. National and International Museums, Theaters, Galleries and concerts are becoming more common every day. There are no visitors who enjoy the beaches and sun but also do not spend one or two days to discover all these attractions suitable for the whole family.
Most of this sites of cultural interest are easly located in the historic center (old town) and Muelle number 1 (dock number one). There is central train station and many parquin lots to be used and to arrive directly.
The Pompideu Center Will remain open in pier 1 in Malaga although its main headquarters in París Will be closed for renovations for a few years.
Contemporary art, the Picasso house or the Thyssen Gallery offer different programs and events throught the year. But there are other places to visit where people should go such as the Malaga City Museum or the Episcopal Palace for example in front of the spectacular Malaga Cathedral, as well as other varied museums.
The new Soho Theater of the well known actor Antonio Banderas or the tradicional and historic Cervantes Theater have a wide repertorie of ballet, contemporary dance and performince arts with national and international figures. The malaga philharmonic orchestra has a long program in different open spaces in the city to enjoy all year round.
In general for Young studets and seniors there are special rates on all these events or guided tours.
You know then, there are no excuses to stay alone on the Coast, Málaga is waiting for you!
